Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. We, at the Al-Amin Center of Florida (ACFL), pray that Allah unite you with love, mercy, happiness, and blessings, and grant you a long and fulfilling life together.
Al-Amin Center of Florida is honored to be part of this special occasion and is pleased to provide Nikah services for our community.
What is a Nikah (عقد نكاح)?
In Islam, the marriage between a bride and groom is a legal contract, known as Nikah.
What is required to be Islamically married?
A Nikah (عقد نكاح) must be performed between the bride and groom in order to be Islamically married.
Who performs the Nikah?
The Nikah is performed by the Imam of Al-Amin Center of Florida.
As the bride, do I need a Wali (guardian)?
Yes.
How do I book the service?
By appointment. Please call us: (561) 880-7806
Will I get a Nikah certificate?
Yes, after the Nikah has been conducted, you will receive your Nikah certificate.
Is there any fee?
Yes, $300.

Requirements for Nikah (عقد نكاح)
1. Mutual agreement to marry between the bride and groom (Ijab-wa-Qubul).
2. Two sane adult male witnesses.
3. Dowry (mahr) to be paid by the groom to the bride.
4. Guardian (wali) for the bride.
5. Written marriage contract (Aqd-Nikah) signed by the bride and groom, and the two witnesses.
6. Marriage sermon (khutbah).

The Marriage (Nikah) Application Form requires the following information:
1. Bride Information:
• Full name
• Father’s name
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Phone Number
• Previous marriage status
2. Groom Information:
• Full name
• Father’s name
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Phone Number
• Previous marriage status
3. Witness/Wali Information:
• Name and address of first witness
• Name and address of second witness
• Name and address of Wali (guardian)
4. Mahr (Gift) Details:
• Amount of Mahr in USD
• Type of Mahr (Cash/Gold)
• Amount on wedding day
• Amount for later
• Any additional marriage terms
Payment Information
Nikah ceremony fee: $300.00
